The Best Gaming TVs for PS5 & PS5 Pro [2026]

Choosing a TV for your PS5 isn’t just about finding the one with the highest performance or the longest list of features. What matters to me is finding the TV that actually makes sense for you, based on how you play, what you need, and how much you’re comfortable spending.

I know there are plenty of high-end TVs that are absolutely stunning. The picture quality can be incredible, and the extra gaming features can be impressive. But are they really for everyone? Are you ready to spend $2,000 on a TV just to get a few additional benefits that you may barely notice or never use, when you can get excellent PS5 performance for under $1,000?

That’s where I think experience matters. I get different types of customers in my shop, and my goal is not to push everyone toward the most expensive option. I want my clients to get what they actually need while spending their budget wisely.

That’s why I researched the current options and carefully selected the PS5 and PS5 Pro TVs I would personally recommend to my own clients. I focused on finding the right balance between performance, features, picture quality, and price, rather than simply chasing the highest-end TV available.

⯁ For the vast majority of PS5 users who are shopping on a budget, the Samsung 55-Inch Class M70H Series Mini LED 4K Smart TV is one of the options I strongly recommend. At under $400, getting a 55-inch Mini LED 4K TV at this price is an incredible value and, for many gamers, there’s simply no need to spend much more.

If you prefer a larger screen, this model is also available in bigger sizes, so you can get the same overall value while going bigger.

⯁ For my clients who are willing to spend a little more for a premium gaming experience while still keeping their budget under $1,000, I recommend the Hisense 65″ U7 Mini-LED ULED 4K UHD TV. At under $850, you’re getting a large 65-inch display with strong picture quality and gaming performance without having to jump into the $1,000+ price range. For someone who wants a more premium TV without overspending, I think it offers a very good balance between performance, size, and price.

⯁ For power users with specific needs who want to get the highest level of display performance from their PS5, I usually recommend the Sony 55-Inch BRAVIA XR8B OLED 4K HDR Smart Google TV. It’s a premium option for those who are willing to spend more for exceptional picture quality, OLED contrast, and advanced gaming features.

This is my go-to budget recommendation for most PS5 users who want a large screen without spending a fortune. The 55-inch Mini LED 4K display delivers a sharp, vibrant picture and solid gaming performance, while the price keeps it within reach for gamers who need to manage their budget wisely. It’s a great example of getting what you actually need without paying extra just for premium features you may never use.

This is a great choice for my clients who want to step up to a premium gaming experience without going overboard on the budget. The 65-inch Mini-LED 4K display offers impressive picture quality, strong contrast, and the gaming features PS5 users actually benefit from. For under $1,000, it strikes a very nice balance between screen size, performance, and price without paying a premium just for the sake of it.

This is my premium recommendation for power users who want to get the most out of their PS5 and are willing to pay more for a top-tier display. The OLED panel delivers excellent contrast, deep blacks, rich colors, and detailed 4K picture quality, while the advanced gaming features make it a strong choice for demanding players. It’s certainly not a TV I’d recommend to everyone, but for those who specifically want a premium PS5 experience, this is where the extra investment starts to make sense.
